Steve Bull

Steve Bull has been involved in the outdoors since a young age. He has led expeditions to various parts of the world over several years. Steve is the founder of BPE and Manager of Cross Lane Equestrian. When not at work, Steve likes to ride horses, attempt to hit a good golf shot and walk the Lakeland fells.”

Kathryn Bull

Kathryn Bull is the wife of Steve Bull, she was tragically killed on the 29th April 2016 working with horses. Kathryn was Co-Director of BPE and ran her own Livery Yard; Cross Lane Equestrian. She lives on in the hearts of all those that knew her; and in The Kathryn Bull Memorial Expedition.

Steve Stout

Overseas Expeditions are consulted on by Steve Stout, who has nearly 20 years experience both leading and planning expeditions around the globe. Steve has worked on all seven continents and is a keen mountaineer and motorcyclist with a penchant for getting to far away places away, the more remote the better!

Hannah Vasey

Hannah Vasey

Hannah Vasey is based at Wilderness Expertise. Upon completion of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Norway which included trekking across the Hardangervidda Plateau, mountain biking and sea kayaking through the fjords she felt inspired to start work in the great outdoors. Since working for BPE she has been building up her NGBs and this summer completed a three week expedition across East Greenland as an Assistant Leader and has progressed from our office assistant.

In her free time Hannah enjoys mountain biking, walking and catching up with the latest films at the cinema.

Craig Offless

Craig Offless is our Technical Advisor and has years of experience. Craig is a committed climber and mountaineer holding the Mountain Instructor Certificate (MIC) and is an Accredited Practitioner for the Institute for Outdoor Learning. He is a BCU Canoe Coach, Level 4 and has worked in a variety of positions in outdoor centres in the UK and overseas. Craig began climbing at an early age in the Peak District and went on to bigger and better things climbing notable peaks in Europe, the Himalaya, Africa and the Middle East, and North and South America. Craig is also an accredited trainer and assessor for the Mountain Leader and Single Pitch Awards. Altus Adventure
